Steelers score on the first drive of the game to take the 7 point lead. Pittsburgh then packed in 2 more touchdowns and a field goal before the Jets were able to squeeze in a field goal right before the half, ending the first half with the Steelers up 24-3.
Since the first half the jets turned things around scoring 2 touchdowns and tackling Ben Roethlisberger in the end zone for a safety giving making the game 24 to 19 late in the 4th quarter.
The Steelers were able to hold on to the ball for the final 3 minutes of the game to hold on for the win. Steelers are in the Super Bowl for the 3rd time in just 6 years.
